Job summary

Athenian Brewery is seeking a driven On Trade Channel Activator to drive the category strategy across channels nationwide. You will collaborate with marketing, sales and external partners to execute activations tied to business objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in fragmented trade or FMCG, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. The role offers a hybrid working model and opportunities for professional growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Fragmented Trade channel or Marketing.
• 1-2 years in category and channel development in FMCG (asset).
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree an asset.
• Strong analytical skills with multiple data sources for insights.
• Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken).
• MS Office tools, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
• Results-oriented with negotiation & communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the category strategy in the respective channel nationwide with Marketing and Sales collaboration.
• Lead the channel agenda internally and externally and own channel performance.
• Develop detailed plans per subchannel and manage the budget for activations & platform evaluation.
• Observe market trends and identify new trade marketing opportunities.
• Brief/debrief agencies with clear targets and goals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders for timely delivery.
• Support sales in strategy execution by providing tools and guidelines per channel.
• Monitor progress of channel plans and adjust promotions based on learnings.
• Translate client needs (distributors, outlet owners) into value propositions.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards.
