Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC in Windfall, IN is seeking a full-time Blade Repair Technician to join our Blade Repair Services team, performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance on our North American turbine fleet.

You will climb wind towers, handle composites repair, and support equipment mobilization and multi-manufacturer blade work, under safety policies. CDL may be required; GWO certification preferred. We offer medical, dental/vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain an RWE-sponsored CDL if requested by the company for mobilization of repair equipment.
• GWO Certification preferred.
• Experience in blade damage assessment and repair across multiple manufacturers (GE, Siemens, Vestas, Nordex etc.)

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ONE RWE values and safety policies.
• Assure safety and compliance with policies during operations and maintenance with PPE and hazard awareness.
• Climb wind towers and access turbines to perform blade repair and maintenance tasks.
• Lift, carry, and transport essential equipment and materials to the job site.
• Assist mobilization of the blade access mechanism and related equipment.
• Support blade repairs for multiple turbine manufacturers (GE, Siemens, Vestas, Nordex, etc.).
• Assist in mobilization of all repair equipment to the site.
• Assist in major component replacements focused on blades.
• Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and handling of repair equipment.
• Complete QA/QC documentation accurately.
