Job summary

Mader is seeking experienced underground hard rock mechanics to support, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment across multiple operations and OEM platforms while on the road. You will work with experienced crews to ensure production equipment remains online and reliable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience on underground hard rock equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability.
• Experience working independently underground.
• Solid hydraulic, electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen/background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics on underground mining equipment.
• Breakdown response and field repairs.
• Planned maintenance and inspections.
• Major component replacements and rebuilds.
• Supporting production‑critical equipment underground.
• Working across Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Normet, Getman and other OEM platforms.
• Delivering high‑quality work safely and efficiently.
