Job summary

Mader Group is seeking experienced underground hard rock mechanics to service equipment across multiple mine sites. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and lead maintenance across diverse fleets and OEM platforms in demanding underground environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working on underground hard rock equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability.
• Experience working independently underground.
• Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Spent years in underground mining? Put that experience to work where it actually carries weight.

Mader is growing our underground team and we're looking for experienced hard rock mechanics who know their way around underground equipment and can be trusted to get the job done.

This role isn't about spending the next five years working on the same machines at the same mine. You'll work across multiple operations, equipment fleets, and OEM platforms while building your skills alongside some of the most experienced underground mechanics in the industry.

If you enjoy diagnostics, major repairs, troubleshooting difficult faults, and the challenge that comes with underground mining, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics on underground mining equipment
• Breakdown response and field repairs
• Planned maintenance and inspections
• Major component replacements and rebuilds
• Supporting production‑critical equipment underground
• Working across Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Normet, Getman and other OEM platforms
