Job summary

Swift Prepared Foods, the prepared foods arm of JBS USA, seeks a Training & Development Supervisor for Columbia, MO. The role focuses on developing and delivering training for production staff, evaluating processes, and providing decision support to drive improvements across the organization.

The successful candidate will spend the majority of time on the floor with operations, report to Human Resources, and contribute to career development initiatives within a dynamic, startup-like environment

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in delivering training in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to communicate concepts clearly to diverse audiences including floor employees, supervisors and managers.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor trainees one-on-one or in groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for production staff and management.
• Evaluate processes, identify training needs, and drive improvements across the line.
• Provide long- and short-term decision support using data and analysis.
• Coordinate onboarding and career development activities for new and existing employees.
• Spend at least 60% of time on the floor collaborating with operations teams.
