Job summary

SnugZ USA in West Jordan, UT, is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to bring engineering discipline to manufacturing. You will validate processes, qualify equipment and utilities, and lead investigations to root causes, reporting to the QA Manager on a focused quality improvement program.

On the production floor, you will strengthen controls, define process parameters, write SOPs, and ensure GMP compliance with GDP/ALCOA+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Biomedical Eng, Microbiology, or related field.
• 5+ years of quality engineering in FDA-regulated cGMP manufacturing.
• 3+ years with OTC drug or personal care products.
• Hands-on with process validation, cleaning validation, and equipment qualification.
• Experience on production floor improving process controls.

Responsibilities

• Validate processes and write qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Lead cleaning validation and CVMP for equipment.
• Maintain validation master plan and schedules.
• Develop and revise SOPs; train operators on new procedures.
• Lead investigations, CAPAs, and change controls with evidence.
• Support FDA inspections and internal audits.
