Job summary

Teledyne Cable Solutions in Dallas, TX seeks a hands-on Quality Engineer to support manufacturing, drive continuous improvement, and reduce defects on the production floor.

You will lead root cause investigations, develop control plans, and collaborate with engineering and operations to提升 process capability and product quality. This role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing QA and US person status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2–5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience resolving manufacturing quality issues on the production floor.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action knowledge.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• US person status required for ITAR data access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Quality Engineering resource supporting manufacturing operations.
• Maintain an active presence on the production floor to monitor processes.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes and control plans.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to reduce defects and variation.
• Conduct Cp/Cpk studies, PFMEAs, PFMEA updates, and risk assessments.
• Support MRB activities and disposition recommendations.
• Analyze production quality data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Participate in product and contract reviews to meet quality requirements.
• Provide training to production personnel on quality objectives.
