AW Technical Center USA is seeking a Floor Side Quality Team Member in Cibolo, TX. The role supports manufacturing quality through in-process verification and random sampling to ensure outputs meet specifications and standards.

The floor-side position works with Calibration and Quality teams to verify conformance to drawings and control plans, using calibrated tools and basic metrology. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to document results precisely.

Qualificações

• Basic understanding of dimensional measurement techniques and metrology principles.
• Familiarity with dimensional measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Ability to perform dimensional and visual inspections accurately and consistently.
• Ability to follow engineering specifications, inspection procedures, control plans, standardized work instructions, and other Quality Control documentation.
• Ability to document inspection results and maintain required records with high accuracy.
• Ability to identify and communicate product, measurement, or process abnormalities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled dimensional and visual inspections within active production areas at defined intervals.
• Conduct random sampling inspections to verify ongoing product and process conformity.
• Perform process verification checks in accordance with established Quality Control requirements.
• Use calibrated measurement equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, plug gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Verify production parts conform to applicable engineering drawings, specifications, control plans, and standardized work instructions.
• Accurately record and document inspection results in accordance with established Quality Control and Calibration procedures.
• Identify, communicate, and escalate out-of-specification conditions, product concerns, or process abnormalities to appropriate Quality and Manufacturing personnel.
• Support immediate containment activities involving suspected or confirmed nonconforming material.
• Verify inspection and measurement equipment is within current calibration status prior to use.
