Job summary

JBS USA in Olympia, WA is seeking a Quality Technician to join the Quality Assurance team. You will perform QA testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor and help ensure compliance with quality standards. The role reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and offers wage of $18.00-$20.00 per hour.

Dependable with attention to detail and good math and communication skills are essential. Experience in food manufacturing quality control is preferred, and bilingual Spanish is a plus;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Experience in food manufacturing quality control preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Must be well-organized with good attention to detail.
• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work with others.
• Professional attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts quality assurance testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor.
• Investigates and determines causes of faulty work and advises production supervisors on corrective measures.
• Ensures sell-by and production dates are correct on product runs.
• Analyzes facts or circumstances to determine actions within standard practices; measures quality and reliability.
• May assume other duties as assigned.
