Job summary

Texas Wash Works is seeking an Installation/Welder Technician to install, assemble, fabricate, and repair vehicle wash equipment at customer locations in Houston, TX. The role combines mechanical installation with welding and fabrication, requiring travel to job sites as needed.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and able to read blueprints and work orders, with the ability to use hand and power tools and meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Welding, fabrication, installation or related mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, installation drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and stay overnight when required.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble vehicle wash equipment, components, frames, and accessories at customer locations.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work using approved methods and equipment.
• Modify or fabricate components to meet project specifications.
• Read and follow blueprints, equipment drawings, measurements, installation instructions, and work orders.
• Assist with layout, alignment, anchoring, and assembly of equipment.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, lifts, and other installation equipment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Travel to customer sites; communicate progress and issues to management.
