Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to join our Metairie, LA team. You will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of water purification equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.

A company vehicle is provided for site visits and some training will be offered. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of technical experience, strong technical/mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a high customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years technical experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience.
• Ability to operate Microsoft Office and use smart devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain water purification equipment at customer sites.
• Use company service vehicle for site visits.
• Willing to train the right candidate; day shift with overtime and on-call rotation.
