Job summary

EBA Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Resident Project Representative to work on capital improvement projects at the Potomac Water Filtration Plant.

The role requires full-time, on-site construction observation, documentation, and coordination across disciplines from design through turnover. The ideal candidate has extensive field inspection or management experience, strong knowledge of facility systems, and the ability to coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction inspection experience.
• 10+ years in construction inspection or related roles.
• Experience with vertical construction and building rehab projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time on-site field representation during construction activities.
• Monitor progress, contract compliance, submittals, permits, and industry standards.
• Observe building systems and renovations across multiple disciplines.
• Document deficiencies, nonconforming work, and potential issues.
• Coordinate with inspectors, designers, operators, and stakeholders.
• Participate in inspections, commissioning, testing, and turnover activities.
• Prepare daily reports, photos, and project records in the PM system.
• Facilitate RFIs, field orders, changes, and contract modifications.
• Support project closeout, punch lists, and turnover packages.
