Job summary

Project Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Management Representative to support the National Park Service on replacing the main water distribution system at Carlsbad Caverns National Park, NM.

The role involves on-site oversight, inspection, and coordination of electrical, sewer, and utility work within a sensitive park environment. The CMR will read plans, monitor contractor performance, document progress, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant construction/engineering work experience in construction management.
• Experience with water distribution systems, underground utilities, and site civil work is preferred.
• Experience with federally funded projects or historic/environmentally sensitive sites is a plus.
• Strong communication and reporting skills; proficient in project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support during construction.
• Read and interpret construction contract plans and specifications.
• Attend and document project meetings; prepare minutes in a timely manner.
• Conduct on-site inspections and document findings with photos and reports.
• Review contractor schedules, cost estimates, RFIs, and change orders.
• Ensure work conforms to contract documents, codes, and safety standards.
