Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry.
• 3+ years’ experience in construction warehouse management, materials management, or supervision.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Good computer usage skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Practical knowledge of the application of construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Understand the function, operation, and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement department objectives and strategies to maintain an effective warehousing program within corporate policies.
• Assist the management team with procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and replenishing as required.
• Safely load and unload trucks using a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain an accurate tool and equipment computerized inventory and tracking system to ensure maximum utilization rate.
• Direct the transportation of procured materials, tools and equipment.
• Monitor warehousing housekeeping to assure a clean, organized and safe environment.
• Coordinate the flow of materials, tools and equipment to and from construction sites to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Provide monitoring, implementation, and support services for the fleet vehicle program as directed by the Operations Manager.
