Job summary

Revlon Manufacturing & Distribution in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Receiving/Warehouse Coordinator to manage the receiving dock, coordinate truck movements, and train staff. The role requires at least two years in a lead role or five years in receiving/warehouse, with strong planning, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, plus forklift experience, is expected. The base pay is $21.00 per hour, with potential short-term incentives.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Minimum of two years lead experience or minimum of five years receiving/warehouse experience.
• Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent leadership and people skills.
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, power hand jacks, sit-down counterbalance trucks, etc. and train others.
• Must demonstrate the ability to utilize creative thinking to obtain all departmental goals.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and direct all work activities on the receiving dock.
• Coordinate movement of resources and trucks for the warehouse.
• Train new permanent and temporary personnel to perform any job assignment.
• Inspect inbound quality of product and KPI reporting.
• Ensure receiving dock/warehouse location accuracy and daily safety meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of DSI and JDE.
• Lead daily safety meetings and monitor housekeeping per SOP.
• Ensure received materials are put away correctly and track labor usage.
• Communicate with DRP, Customer Service, Purchasing and Accounting.
• Represent department in absence of supervisor.
