Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of electrical equipment. This on-site role reports to the Logistics Manager and will support a new manufacturing plant coming online.

The ideal candidate will lead a safety-conscious team, operate a forklift, manage data entry in ERP systems, and coordinate with Production and Quality to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse, shipping, or receiving in manufacturing; 1+ year in a leadership role.
• Experience with bills of lading, packing lists, and basic shipping paperwork.
• ERP data entry and record-keeping in Excel; forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to manage a team on a busy dock and floor.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily warehouse operations: receiving, put away, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
• Lead, schedule, and coach the warehouse team and drivers; set priorities and promote safety.
• Operate forklift for staging, loading, and unloading materials as needed.
• Coordinate with Logistics Manager on carrier pickups, deliveries, and special handling.
• Enter receiving, inventory, and shipping data into ERP; maintain accurate records.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Keep documents organized: receiving docs, packing lists, delivery proofs, damage reports.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, and Quality to ensure timely shipments.
• Ensure large/heavy equipment is stored and secured to prevent damage.
• Enforce safety rules for forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes; conduct regular cycle counts.
• Assist with warehouse layout planning for the new plant as it comes online.
• Work as a flexible, adaptable team player in a startup-like environment.
