Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Scanline Floater to prepare and position products for the scan team and to remove scanned items after processing. This role reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead and requires on-site work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Responsibilities include inspecting inbound items, classifying condition, testing electronics, and moving goods for scanning and shelving in auction lots.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
