Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring a Scanline Floater to prepare and position products for the scan team and to remove scanned products, placing items according to auction lot numbers. You will work under the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead and perform duties to support productivity.

The role requires on-site availability, basic electronics testing, movement of products to scanning areas, and adherence to company policies. Physical lifting and long periods of standing are required.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
