Job summary

Savino Del Bene is seeking three warehouse associates in Chicago to receive, store, and distribute materials with accuracy and timeliness. You will assist shipping/receiving, unload containers, break down PMCs, and maintain organized inventory locations while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be Forklift Certified.
• Experience with Ocean containers, dry van unloads and pick & pack.
• 3-5 years Freight Forwarding warehouse experience.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Good technical capacity and thoroughness.
• High ethical standards in handling goods.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs in floor-loaded operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving; unload trucks and check in merchandise.
• Break down PMCs and load/unload containers.
• Maintain CFS files and ensure accurate order distribution.
• Read orders to determine items to move or ship and assemble customer orders.
• Move materials to shipping or designated areas; organize racks and bins.
• Ensure safety and accessibility of warehouse for staff and customers.
