Job summary

Lonza in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Reliability Specialist (Vibration/Predictive Program) to ensure health and reliability of critical assets. This in-person, site-based role supports real-time collaboration and precision in manufacturing medicines.

You will lead data-driven maintenance strategies, perform vibration diagnostics, and contribute to reliability initiatives across the plant. Strong engineering background and hands-on CMMS experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Experience in Reliability Engineering, Asset Management, Maintenance Engineering, or related technical discipline in regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of reliability methodologies (FMEA, RCFA, RCM).
• Hands-on with vibration analysis and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Ability to assess health, analyze data, and develop data-driven maintenance strategies.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP PM or CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and reliability of rotating and critical industrial equipment via vibration testing, diagnostics, and condition monitoring.
• Develop and improve Reliability and Asset Management programs to boost performance and safety.
• Analyze downtime trends and root causes to propose corrective actions.
• Generate technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Implement Condition Based Equipment Monitoring program.
• Collect and analyze vibration data to identify mechanical faults.
