Job summary

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) seeks a Venue Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse events portfolio at our Austin facilities. You will act as the main liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional experiences from concept to completion.

The role requires high organization, proactive communication, and a focus on operational excellence in a fast-paced setting, with on-site leadership and post-event evaluation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Proven venue management or event operations experience in sports or entertainment venues.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as events schedule.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking across teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand event goals and guest experience.
• Lead planning, coordination, and on-site execution of events.
• Serve as primary client contact with timely updates and solutions.
• Coordinate with venue operations, security, catering, production, and vendors.
• Prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and docs.
• Create budgets, monitor expenses, and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Develop event timelines and production schedules.
• Anticipate operational challenges and implement proactive solutions.
• Oversee on-site operations and lead real-time decision-making.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and pursue continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and teams.
• Support Events & Hospitality team with additional projects.
