NMB Technologies Corporation is seeking a Resident Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison with a major automotive OEM in the Spartanburg, SC area. The role involves on-site support during vehicle builds and rapid issue resolution across global R&D and manufacturing teams.

Qualified candidates have a 3+ year background in automotive engineering, with expertise in CAN/LIN networks, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years in product design, field application engineering, R&D, or automotive quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical architectures and CAN/LIN protocols.
• Proficiency with vehicle network analysis and diagnostic tools (Vector CANoe, vFlash).
• Experience with DFMEA/8D/FTA and root-cause analyses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for leadership-level presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary technical liaison with OEM customer in Spartanburg, supporting prototypes, pre-series runs, and mass production on-site.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve vehicle assembly issues on vehicles or test benches.
• Lead containment actions and coordinate engineering changes to minimize line disruptions.
• Document logs, issue-tracking, and quality trends for continuous improvement.
• Translate plant symptoms into actionable data for design and manufacturing teams.
