Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to perform vehicle check-in tasks at the auction site. This role involves data entry, labeling, and directing transporters, with a strong emphasis on safety and process accuracy.

The position is on-site, day shift, with potential overtime based on business needs. Candidates should be able to lift light items and operate handheld devices like the Zebra TC75x.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a handheld computer for each vehicle received at the Auction.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
• Report transport damage as needed.
• Support safety programs and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
