Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead an assigned manufacturing value stream at the Mountain Home, AR facility, delivering world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

You will develop leaders, drive Lean initiatives, manage budgets and KPIs, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain and HR to drive continuous improvement and business results while maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading leaders, supervisors, or equivalent management roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience utilizing operational KPIs and data-driven decision making to drive business results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost performance targets.
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors, team leads, and production personnel while driving employee engagement, accountability, and talent development.
• Champion a zero-injury culture by ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, standardized work, visual management, waste elimination, and problem-solving activities.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage operational budgets, labor planning, resource allocation, and cost reduction initiatives while supporting strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and human resources teams to support business goals and organizational change initiatives.
• Support quality management systems, customer requirements, audits, and continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
