Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer I to design visual and UX elements for websites and cross-platform apps, aligning business strategy with UX research. This is an on-site role in Springfield, MO with no remote option.

Responsibilities include drafting site maps, analyzing user data, and contributing to prototype development while collaborating with cross-functional teams. 7–12 months of experience and a Bachelor's degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level.
• 7 to 12 months of experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop draft website maps, application models, and image/page templates for review by senior colleagues.
• Support channel management through competitive benchmarking, customer insights, and A/B testing.
• Research and interpret data, trends, and benchmarks relevant to digital products/services design.
• Contribute to planning, designing, construction, testing, and evaluation of prototypes.
• Support customer experience initiatives, tools, and processes, including CX testing.
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes and address them through change management.
• Collate and analyze data using preset tools and formats; work independently.
• Report on client interactions to understand customer segments and needs.
• Develop capabilities through training and ongoing education in technology and best practices.
• Roles at this level involve delivering results within established systems with support.
