Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Network Defense Analyst to join the CESO effort in Arlington, VA. This 100% on-site role supports a 24x7 secure web service operation, migrating to a high-security cloud while protecting networked systems and providing incident response.

Ideal candidates will perform incident detection, monitor security tools, and document analyses. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen CESO's defense posture and maintain timely, accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years in cyber/network defense.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start.
• DoDD 8140 IAT Level II/III certification (e.g., Security+ CE).

Responsibilities

• Perform computer network incident detection and response activities.
• Monitor security tools for malicious activity and recommend mitigations.
• Document each event with clear technical writing in ticketing system.
• Maintain regular customer interaction and address issues with minimal supervision.
• Improve CESO processes and ensure timely checks and complete documentation.
• Assist with forecasting and modeling current threats with senior staff.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for secure cloud migration.
