Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Trimble Operator to work on site in Georgia. The role involves operating Total Station equipment, calibrating instruments, and coordinating layout for plumbing and HVAC points on construction sites.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Trimble / Total Station Operator.
• Ability to interpret written/oral/diagram instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong computer literacy (survey software & data handling).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Must be able to travel to various project sites and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout, coordinates, and setbacks for plumbing and HVAC points on sites.
• Assemble and set up the total station instrument with calibration and alignment.
• Operate the total station to measure distances, angles, and elevations per project specs.
• Collect survey data including horizontal/vertical measurements and coordinates.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of total station equipment.
• Check and verify collected data for errors during construction.
• Transfer data into software or databases for analysis and reporting.
• Prepare detailed reports, logs, and equipment maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to coordinate construction activities.
