Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company invites students to join a hands-on internship focused on supply chain and logistics. You will engage in Transportation Projects, data processing in SAP/SQL/Power BI, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts on-site in Spartanburg.

Expect to work full-time (40 hours/week) from March 8, 2027, to September 17, 2027, with opportunities to develop data analytics, SAP tooling, and German language skills while collaborating with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a university outside of the United States.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on US grading scale.
• Completed BMW internship of at least 3 months.
• Must be available for full-time on-site work (40 hours/week).
• Must pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• Provide required English paperwork (resume, transcripts, references).

Responsibilities

• Support department in Transportation Projects and reporting.
• Troubleshoot upstream process partner errors affecting performance.
• Conduct data processing in SAP, SQL, Power BI and reports.
• Assist JIT/JIS and SCM Project Leads.
• Facilitate weekly Transportation team meetings.
• Keep training documents and department website up to date.
• Engage in KPI dashboards, data analytics, and visualization projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.
