Job summary

dnata Catering USA seeks a Transportation Manager to oversee the transport of meals and supplies to airline clients. You will lead drivers and dispatchers, monitor equipment, and optimize routes to meet tight schedules and quality standards.

This role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, collaboration with other departments, and ensuring on-time deliveries in a fast-paced environment. Strong logistics and communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field with experience in transportation/logistics.
• Minimum 5 years in transportation or fleet coordination with safety awareness.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel; able to read and interpret safety and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee movements between the facility and airfield per customer and operations needs.
• Ensure catering is transported following SOPs and QA programs.
• Lead dispatchers to coordinate truck movements and monitor timings.
• Maintain fleet readiness and scheduling for drivers and dispatchers.
• Implement safety audits with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
