Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reading, writing and math skills for length, area, and volume.
• Preferred certifications: NICET Level 2 in Transportation/Highway Construction.
• Experience with field inspections and construction documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with contractor's health and safety plan.
• Check that delivered materials conform to contract documents.
• Check contractor's layout and verify accuracy.
• Prepare and submit daily reports of work performed.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• Maintain records of quantities and costs and assist with progress payments.
