H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking an Engineer Tool 2 to support our Tooling department in Palmdale. The role is on-site and requires hands-on design and fabrication coordination using CATIA.

You will develop test plans, improve processes, and assist product development to ensure manufacturability and validation. A strong background in 3D modeling, GD&T, and detailing is essential, with proficient use of MS Office for documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Catia design experience with 3D modeling and detailing.
• Familiarity with ANSI/ISO drawing standards.
• Experience in designing castings, stampings, and turned components.
• GD&T knowledge and proper application on drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to manage technical details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers.
• Coordinate/develop and execute test plans.
• Develop and evaluate process improvements.
• Assist Product Development with manufacturability and validation of designs.
• Develop manufacturing processes and procedures for tools and equipment.
• Manage all project phases: design, document, fabricate, assemble, and validate.
