Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related discipline) with applicable experience; ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications; experience with manufacturing processes and tooling development; ability to work cross-functionally and manage priorities to meet schedule commitments.

Responsibilities

• Designs industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing / Quality / Suppliers; release drawings/requirements; support tool build and prove-out; troubleshoot tooling issues on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous improvement and standard work in tooling; support root cause/corrective action as needed.
