Responsibilities

• Designs industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing / Quality / Suppliers; release drawings/requirements; support tool build and prove-out; troubleshoot tooling issues on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous improvement and standard work in tooling; support root cause/corrective action as needed.

Looking for an Engineer Tool 2 to support our Tool Integration & Offload department. This position will be served on-site at Saint Augustine, Fl.

This role supports the design, development, procurement, fabrication, and sustainment of manufacturing tooling and equipment to meet production, quality, cost, and schedule objectives. Responsibilities typically include developing tool concepts and detailed designs, releasing drawings/requirements, supporting tool build and prove-out, coordinating with Manufacturing / Quality / Suppliers, troubleshooting tooling issues on the shop floor, and driving continuous improvement and standard work.
