Job summary

The Judge Group in North Andover, MA is seeking a Testing Engineer Technician on-site to assist in building and supporting proprietary ATE hardware and software for analog components in a high-volume environment.

You will construct, analyze, and debug test circuits, document experiments, and build custom test equipment for automated systems. A 5–7 year background in test engineering and soldering proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in test engineering support.
Comprehensive knowledge in basic electrical principles.
Experience in operating and maintaining Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Proficiency in soldering and a solid understanding of component types and ratings.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.

Responsibilities

Assist in building and supporting proprietary ATE hardware/software for analog components.
Construct, analyze and debug test circuits; document experiments and qualifications.
Build custom test equipment for automated systems.
Document data and testing specifications for products.
Provide ad hoc support to Test Engineers and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
Support other departments with test activities as needed.
