Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site operator in Grand Rapids, MI to test assembled equipment, troubleshoot unit issues, and work with engineering and lead technicians to keep production lines flowing. The role requires reading schematics, safety awareness, and flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

The ideal candidate has experience in electrical/electronic work, basic programming, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Highschool or GED required.
• Experience with basic mechanical maintenance, electronics, wiring schemes and electrical work.
• Ability to read and write English for assembly directions, Work Order packets and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment after assembly and troubleshoot unit issues using schematics and tools.
• Provide technical support to customers on assigned projects and at customer sites.
• Follow safety policies and work in a fast-moving environment.
