Job summary

Peraton Labs is seeking a Test Systems Engineer to support its Electronic Warfare Research organization at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This on-site role requires coordinating test plans, schedules, and cross-organizational support five days a week.

The candidate will develop test plans, lead live-fire demonstrations, and ensure sensor integration with C5ISR networks. A TS clearance with SCI eligibility and 5+ years of engineering experience are expected, with a Master’s degree enhancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years engineering experience; 3 years with a Master's.
• US Citizenship and Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Systems engineering background with MBSE experience.

Responsibilities

• Author, review, and execute detailed Test Plans for Developmental and Operational Testing; translate requirements into verifiable metrics.
• Serve as Technical Test Lead for live-fire demonstrations and sensor collection events; coordinate multi-organizational test support.
• Configure, calibrate, and operate data acquisition systems, sensors, telemetry, and diagnostic software to capture real-time metrics.
• Identify, analyze, and document risks, safety hazards, and failure modes early in the lifecycle to establish mitigations.
• Verify that deployed systems interoperate with existing C5ISR networks and Army architectures.
• Initiate and manage Purchase Orders for laboratory/test equipment; track expenditures against budgets.
• Manage the technical cost, schedule, and performance baseline for R&D projects within a lab environment.
