Job summary

CACI is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support Army EW/R&D efforts, evaluating RF/ECM performance and assisting EOD personnel. The role emphasizes hardware-in-the-loop and OTA testing, with annual travel to field exercises at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Candidates must have TS/SCI and extensive RF/EW testing experience. The position requires presenting findings to soldiers, coordinating with technical staff, and supporting field demonstrations and RCIED countermeasures.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• 5 years experience as RF or EW Engineer required.
• Strong knowledge of RF theory/technology.
• Experience in EW and RF testing.
• Experience using hand-held and benchtop RF test equipment (listed).
• Perform standard RF measurements with listed equipment.
• Ability to present material to soldiers.
• Physical ability to present live-fire scenarios on a military range.
• Ability to work well with technical staff in high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate legacy, modern, and emerging RF/EW tech to counter threats.
• Review intelligence reports to identify TTPs and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and test EW systems in hardware-in-the-loop and OTA environments.
• Perform anechoic chamber and coaxial testing for ECM systems.
• Support RF/ECM testing for military RF systems.
• Operate RF test equipment and collect RF data for ECM testing.
• Assist in writing test plans and results briefs.
• Attend field tests and provide onsite technical support for ECM.
• Provide ECM SME briefings during Ravens Challenge and field lanes.
