Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, to support the system engineering process across the weapon system life cycle, spanning test, quality, production, reliability, and product assurance. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing test plans using statistical methods, coordinating Government‑driven test plans, and ensuring data supports engineering decisions.

The role may involve radar operations and travel to testing sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of Test Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Journeyman Test Engineer. Experience supporting the system engineering process across the weapon system life cycle in test, quality, production, reliability, and product assurance.
• Develops and reviews test plans and procedures using statistically designed test methods, test planning, execution, oversight, and reporting to support technical recommendations.
• Prepares Government‑coordinated test plans in accordance with Army regulations and analyzes test results.
• Ensures data collected from tests is adequate to support engineering, developmental, operational and acceptance test requirements.
• Performs radar system operations and maintenance; participates in tests at sites like YPG, AZ and potentially others.
