SimVentions, Inc. in Dahlgren, VA, is seeking a Test Engineer to join the SLBM team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren. You will design and maintain automated test scripts, develop detailed test plans and cases tied to requirements, and execute manual and automated testing across multiple levels.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in software/systems testing, proficiency in test automation and Linux, strong requirements traceability, and excellent communication for daily customer interaction. U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software/systems testing experience or equivalent education.
• Experience running/writing automation scripts or code.
• Comfortable reviewing C++ code and using Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Write detailed test plans, test descriptions, and test cases tied to requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing (static, dynamic, integration, system-level).
• Perform requirements traceability using DOORS and other tools.
• Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate with developers for rapid resolution.
• Review peers’ test documentation and participate in Agile Sprint meetings.
