Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a telemetry monitoring specialist to provide continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance for general care areas and the Emergency Department. You will identify and communicate electrocardiographic patterns and dysrhythmias to help ensure patient safety.

The role requires a High School diploma (preferred), completion of the ImPULSE Course within two weeks of start date, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must complete ImPULSE Course and pass exams within two weeks of start date.
• Exemplary communication and customer service skills required.
• Analytical skills to gather and interpret routine data.
• Able to monitor patients continuously and stay alert during duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance for patients in general care areas and ED requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Identify, quantify and communicate electrocardiographic patterns and dysrhythmias.
• Maintain focus in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient safety.
