Job summary

Froedtert ThedaCare in Menomonee Falls is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Monitor Technician to serve on-site at Froedtert Men Falls Hospital. This role observes patients' heart rhythms, answers call lights, and pages caregivers as needed, with potential to act as Nursing Assistant under RN supervision.

The position requires completion of a certified nursing assistant program or equivalent experience, a Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of certified nursing assistant program is required.
• In lieu of certified nursing assistant, a minimum of 2 years experience as monitor technician is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes, records, and responds to patients' heart rhythms.
• Answers patient call lights via an intercom system and pages the message to the caregiver.
• The MT can also function as a Nursing Assistant under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
• The Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living.
