Job summary

Metis Technology Solutions, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, supports Lockheed Martin Space COOLR program delivering IT and cybersystems security for ASDB, FSW, and NASTT tools. This role requires 9x80A on-site work and collaboration across production and testing environments.

Responsibilities include Linux/UNIX and Windows administration, disaster recovery, RMF-based compliance, and change/asset management. A DoD Final SECRET clearance and Security+ are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience or equivalent.
• Active DoD Final SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET possibly required).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Hands-on Linux/UNIX and Windows administration; embedded hardware familiarity.
• Experience with disaster recovery tools and enterprise storage.
• Ability to apply STIGs and sustain RMF-based compliance.
• Experience with change-management tools and asset inventories.

Responsibilities

• System Administration (Linux/UNIX, Windows, embedded hardware): deploy, configure, harden, troubleshoot, and support disaster recovery.
• Storage Management: install, secure, and monitor NAS/SAN solutions.
• Cyber Compliance: apply STIGs, manage patches, and RMF-based compliance.
• Change & Asset Management: utilize change-management tools and keep inventories up to date.
• Operational Support: on-site during day shifts; after-hours support when needed.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: lead best-practice discussions and mentor peers.
• Deliverables & Reporting: prepare quarterly SDRs identifying progress.
