Saalex is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to support the SSAT Program at China Lake, CA. You will administer Windows and RHEL mission systems, develop secure baselines, and ensure compliance with DoD RMF/STIG requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of cross-platform admin experience, DoD or regulated environments, and strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. Onsite work with mission-focused teams and field activities is included.

Qualifications

• Meet DoD 8140/DCWF requirements for privileged admin.
• 3+ years Windows/Linux admin experience.
• Experience in DoD or regulated computing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and RHEL 8/9 systems.
• Develop and maintain secure OS baseline images.
• Apply DISA STIGs and support RMF compliance.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell or Bash scripts.
