Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks an Intermediate Systems Engineer to provide SETA support to the MDIOC Mission Engineering Team at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This 100% on-site role supports the Chief Engineer in maintaining the MDIOC Technical Baseline and developing new capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in systems engineering, strong communication, and proficiency with Power BI and Cameo, plus DoD security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years' experience.
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering and technical support.
• Experience developing system requirements/specifications and interface control documents.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Standards & Technical Baseline Support: maintain MDIOC Technical Baseline artifacts and ensure compliance with SE processes.
• Process Optimization & Integration: assess and improve MDIOC processes; support SoS integration and MDIOC roadmap; use Power BI and Cameo for requirements management and reporting.
• Program Health & Technical Support: monitor SE activities, develop health reports, analyze issues, and support technical reviews and performance metrics.
• Rapid Response & Anomaly Resolution: assist with data collection, evaluate solutions, and coordinate corrective actions during incidents.
