Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks an Intermediate Systems Engineer to provide SETA support to the MDIOC Mission Engineering Team at Schriever SFB, Colorado. This on-site role supports the MDIOC Chief Engineer in maintaining the Technical Baseline and integrating new capabilities.

The candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, works independently, and collaborates with team members and customers to deliver secure, reliable systems. A DoD background and active clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years' experience.
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience and support to program management.
• Experience developing system requirements/specifications, engineering management plans, and interface control documents.
• Ability to depict technical approaches, designs, block diagrams, and implementations in written and graphical form.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and implementation of the MDIOC Technical Baseline following established engineering standards.
• Assist senior engineers in maintaining accuracy and integrity of baseline artifacts.
• Support optimization and integration of MDIOC systems and SoS strategies; assist with requirements management, traceability, modeling, V&V, reporting.
• Monitor activities and performance indicators; develop reports; support technical reviews; analyze anomalies and provide recommendations.
