Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Systems Engineer to support US Navy USV waterfront operations, vessel readiness, tech integration, test execution, and schedule coordination for the PAE RAS program office. This on-site role provides advisory support to CCD and waterfront stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a business or technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in engineering/science management or related fields, including significant Navy support.
• Strong knowledge of project coordination, schedule tracking, risk tracking, cost-estimation support, action-item management, and technical writing.
• Familiarity with Navy financial-management/admin processes incl. Navy ERP and procurement procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and work in waterfront environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate vessel operations, schedule planning, and waterfront events aligned with Government-approved schedules.
• Maintain master operational schedule for assigned USVs and track milestones, dependencies, and execution status.
• Draft test plans and coordinate test-package documentation to align waterfront tests with Government objectives.
• Monitor and report system installations, test events, discrepancies, corrective actions, and verification milestones.
• Serve as on-site coordination point among PAE RAS, NAVSEA, PEO IWS, warfare centers, shipyards, and vendor teams.
