Akima Data Management (ADM) is seeking a System Administrator for on-site work at the Pentagon. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a BS in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience, and DoD 8140 certification.

Qualifikationen

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Telecommunications, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8140 Certification required.
• 5 years of experience producing and maintaining network diagrams.
• 5 years of experience installing and supporting network applications.
• 5 years of network monitoring across assets.
• 5 years of documentation for hardware, software and networks.
• 5 years working with TCP/IP in SDN design.
• 5 years troubleshooting networking issues and communicating with staff.
• 5 years installing and configuring network equipment.
• Must be onsite Monday through Friday.

• Administers, develops, tests, implements, and maintains OS and related software.
• Establishes standards for computer operations for hardware/software compatibility.
• Troubleshoots software, OS, and networking problems.
• Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and data recovery.
• Recommends hardware/software upgrades from growth statistics and disk forecasts.
• Configures hardware such as workstations, printers, servers, and tape devices.
• Provides technical support for system users.
• Performs work under general supervision.
• Handles moderately complex issues and refers higher-level problems.
