Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Switch Assembler - 1st Shift in Greenwood, South Carolina. This on-site role pays $20.00 per hour and operates from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with salaries based on skills and experience.

You will perform machine set-ups, verify drawings, and assemble switches while following safety procedures. High school diploma and residence within 50 miles of Greenwood are required; 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Corporate Sponsorship.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, South Carolina - no relocation will be provided for this role.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-ups for various switch configurations and operate all machines within department to ensure quality product.
• Check specifications and required drawings for proper assembly and ensure compliance to Quality procedures.
• Follow standard work, move and load materials needed to build switches.
• Transition to various workstations and help others as needed to meet department productivity goals.
• Work safely to prevent work injuries by following standard safety procedures.
