Job summary

Ally General Solutions, LLC (AGS) in Houston, TX is seeking a qualified Survey Technician to support land surveying operations through drafting, data processing, and survey project preparation. This on-site, full-time role reports to a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) or Project Manager and involves preparing calculations, CAD drawings, plats, and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of land surveying office experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Knowledge of Trimble Business Center is a plus.
• Ability to review and interpret deeds, plats, title reports, construction plans, and utility plans.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare survey calculations and CAD drawings and supporting documents for a variety of projects (boundary, ALTA/NSPS, easements, ROW, topographic).
• Review deeds, plats, title reports, and construction plans for survey use.
• Prepare data, calculations, drawings, and subdivision plats for RPLS review.
• Coordinate with field crews, project managers, engineers, and other personnel.
• Ensure compliance with government agency ordinances and regulations.
