Job summary

Ally General Solutions, LLC (AGS) in Houston, TX is seeking a Land Survey Instrument-Man to support field surveying activities. The role involves drafting, data processing, and technical analysis with on-site work and flexible scheduling.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of surveying experience, strong equipment handling skills with Trimble products, and be able to perform basic calculations and document field notes. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of surveying experience.
• Ability to operate surveying equipment and assist field crew.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various terrains.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and preparation of surveying equipment and vehicle.
• Work under the direction of a Party Chief.
• Operate survey equipment including Trimble Robotic, Trimble GPS and TSC7 data collector.
• Operate Level and Digital level.
• Survey vehicle maintenance.
• Take level notes and assist with field notes.
• Perform basic calculations.
